The smell of the salty air, the sound of the waves, the wind hitting your face, the sun kissing your skin, and the sand between your toes. Bliss. Some people would travel across the world just to enjoy the never-ending summer. Luckily, it’s not a problem where I live. Bali has endless summer and so many hidden beaches.

This is one of those hidden beaches. A few days ago, Cindra and I went on this beach hunting trip. She heard about this beach from her friends. And just like any other hidden beaches, not a lot of people know where it is. The beach was kind of easy to find, and her friends were right, it was — almost — empty. So we both swam in the sea, took pictures, and it was all fun and laughter — c’mon it’s a hidden beach, we discovered a hidden beach — until I tripped over a rock and dropped Cindra’s phone in the sea. Crap. Thank heavens all is well in the end.

Have you ever find a hidden beach? What is your worst beach experience?
