Living in a paradise with its endless summer is a happiness one can’t describe. It feels like the rain would no longer pour until October, although it does rain sometimes but only several times in a month. Indonesia only has two seasons, dry and wet seasons. And just like its name, we really get wet in wet season. The rain would pour 24/7 (ok I’m exaggerating, but you get the point) without even considering to stop. But just like the saying, there’s always a rainbow after the rain. That’s where the beach enters and when the fun begins.
Pandawa beach is a beautiful sandy beach by the cliffs with ancient religious structures. It’s best to go during weekdays where there are fewer locals so you get to enjoy the beach. Although I personally prefer other (deserted) beaches if I want to lay on the beach all day, Pandawa is quite good. But honestly, the part I love the most about Pandawa is its cliffs. If you go up to the cliffs and take a photo from there, the backdrop looks like it’s painted. Bright, blue, white sand, and piercing sun.. What’s not to love?
